Parents, Friends, Supporters of the Markham Gymnastics Club:

It is a pleasure to introduce you to the Markham Gymnastics Club. We are a very busy, active club that welcomes hundreds of athletes at all levels (recreational through to provincial) to train at our club. We also welcome parents and relatives to observe classes hence our waiting room and gym are usually filled to capacity and over a thousand people pass through our each year!

You may be able to assist our athletes in two ways:

1. ASSIST OUR ATHLETES WHO WILL BE TRAVELLING TO NEW YORK CITY:

We are currently conducting a funding effort in order to cover the costs of an upcoming competition in New York City - the Manhattan Classic! Several of our Provincial athletes will be representing our club in this highly regarded international competition. We are gratefully requesting corporate sponsorship of $200 or more and will provide those sponsors with 5 free tickets to attend our Holiday Show, December 16, 2007 as well as inclusion of their business cards on our website www.markhamgymnasticsclub.com.

2. BECOME A MARKHAM GYMNASTICS CLUB GENERAL SPONSOR:

We would like to offer the opportunity for corporate sponsors to share their information with parents either by buying a banner for our gym, being included in our website, or making corporate information available to hundreds of Markham Gym parents and guests. We are gratefully requesting corporate sponsors in the amount of $500 or more; these funds will be applied to the cost of attaining new equipment, thereby ensuring that our athletes are using the most up-to-date and safe gymnastics gear possible, or to cover travel costs, as our athletes must compete throughout Ontario and in the US in order to meet their training goals. All corporate sponsors of $500 or more will be welcome to have a one-page advertisement on our popular and well-linked website.

We would like to continue offering a first-class opportunity for both competitive and recreational athletes and are requesting corporate sponsors to consider supporting our young athletes.
